Research Behind Nutri-Grow®

In the mid-1990’s, Dr. Carol Lovatt, a plant physiologist at UC Riverside, was granted a patent for a superior method of fertilization she developed using phosphonates also known as phosphites. Biagro Western Sales, Inc. negotiated an exclusive license with the UC for the patented technology and developed the Nutri-Grow® formulations. Continuing research by other university researchers has further demonstrated that phosphites have many beneficial affects on plant growth and health.
