GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS and PRECAUTIONS
NutriGrow® MAGNUM is a concentrated foliar nutrient solution containing, in highly soluble form, certain elements, Potassium and Nitrogen, beneficial to plant growth, rooting, root development, flowering, transplant establishment and, with sufficient nitrogen, may improve color development when applied as a properly timed foliar or soil spray. Application to turf may improve resistance to traffic if potassium is not adequately supplied by the soil medium. NutriGrow® MAGNUM is intended for use as a supplemental foliar and/or soil treatment. Incorrect soil application may cause plant injury. Follow Manufacturer’s Recommended Directions for Use. Applications of NutriGrow® MAGNUM should be part of a fertility program based upon soil and tissue testing data. NutriGrow® MAGNUM may be applied through all types of ground spraying equipment.
Foliar Nutritional Applications - Apply 1 to 3 pints per acre. DO NOT EXCEED a maximum product concentration of 0.066% volume/volume (v/v) for GREENHOUSE or PROTECTED AREA conditions. Note: A 0.066% v/v solution is approximately 8.5 floz of NutriGrow® MAGNUM per 100 gallons of water. (See APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS Section)
DO NOT EXCEED a maximum product concentration of 0.2% volume/volume (v/v) for OUTDOOR or FIELD GROWING conditions. Note: A 0.2% v/v solution is approximately 25.5 floz of NutriGrow® MAGNUM per 100 gallons of water. (See APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS Section)
Soil Nutritional Applications - For infrequent applications, DO NOT EXCEED a maximum product concentration of 0.33% volume/volume (v/v). Note: A 0.33% v/v solution is approximately 42.5 floz of NutriGrow® MAGNUM per 100 gallons of water. (See APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS Section)
For continuous feed application (fertigation), DO NOT EXCEED a maximum product concentration of 0.03% volume/volume (v/v). Note: A 0.03% v/v solution is approximately 42.5 floz of NutriGrow® MAGNUM per 100 gallons of water. (See APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS Section)
Turf or Tree Farm Nutritional Applications – DO NOT EXCEED a maximum product concentration of 1.32% volume/volume (v/v). Note: A 1.32% v/v solution is approximately 1.32 gallons of NutriGrow® MAGNUM per 100 gallons of water. (See APPLICATION PRECAUTIONS Section)
Compatibility NutriGrow® MAGNUM is compatible with most commonly used foliar fungicides, insecticides and chemically neutral fertilizers and microelements. However, the USER ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY to ensure compatibility when tank mixing with other products. AVOID MIXING with oxidizing chemicals such as chlorine, hydrogen peroxide, ozone and other sterilants. It is not recommended to use this product with other surfactants or adjuvants. SUGGESTED USES
CONIFER AND DECIDUOUS WOODY ORNAMENTALS
PROPAGATION Momentarily submerge cuttings in a 0.2% v/v solution prior to planting.
TRANSPLANTING AND ESTABLISHMENT Momentarily submerge entire seedling tray in a 0.066% v/v solution OR apply as a foliar spray using a 0.066% v/v solution prior to transplanting.
NEW OUTDOOR PLANTINGS AND RESETS – Once the plants are set, depending on size, apply up to 2 gallons of a 0.33% v/v solution to the root zone of each plant (e.g. 2 pints for small shrubs; 2 gallons for large shrubs). Make additional foliar applications of a 0.066% to 0.2% v/v solution on a ten to fourteen day spray interval or as needed to supplement nutritional requirements.
MAINTENANCE, GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT Apply as a foliar spray using a 0.066% to 0.2% v/v solution with subsequent applications at ten to fourteen day intervals or as needed to supplement nutritional requirements.
Note: Applications should be discontinued during dormancy. The first seasonal application should be applied at bud emergence. The last application should be applied just prior to the onset of senescence. For foliar applications, DO NOT EXCEED a product spray concentration of 0.066% to 0.2% v/v depending upon the growing location and/or environment of the plants (See Foliar Nutritional Application Section). When using a 0.2% solution of NutriGrow® MAGNUM, use a maximum of 4 gallons of spray solution per 1,000 sqft (176 Gallons per acre).
TREES AND TREE FARMS (e.g. Christmas Trees; Park Plantings)
NEW PLANTINGS AND RESETS – Once the trees are set in the ground, apply up to 2 gallons of a 0.33% v/v solution to the root zone of each tree. Make additional foliar applications of 1-1.5 pints per acre at two-week spray intervals during the growing season. Make a minimum of two foliar applications per season. NutriGrow® MAGNUM may be applied as a tank mix partner with foliar fungicide and/or insecticide applications.

PROPAGATION Apply the first foliar spray application at the second true leaf stage using a 0.2% v/v solution. Apply subsequent applications at ten to fourteen day intervals or as needed to supplement nutritional requirements.
TRANSPLANTING AND ESTABLISHMENT Momentarily submerge the entire seedling tray in a 0.066% v/v solution OR apply as a foliar spray using a 0.066% v/v solution prior to transplanting.

CUT FLOWERS

CUT FLOWER SHIPMENT - Cut flowers may be treated with a 0.066% v/v solution two to three days prior to harvest OR dipped in a 0.066% v/v solution after harvest and prior to shipping.

TURF, GOLF COURSE GREENS AND FAIRWAYS
COOL SEASON GRASSES Apply 2 to 3.5 floz. per 1,000 square feet in a minimum spray volume of 2 gallons of water at fourteen day intervals during active growth periods.
WARM SEASON GRASSES Apply 2 to 3.5 floz. per 1,000 square feet in a minimum spray volume of 2 gallons of water at fourteen day intervals from mid Spring to mid Fall. Continue subsequent applications at 4 to 5 week intervals for remainder of the year.
GOLF GREENS Depending on the type of grass, follow the suggested use for either COOL or
WARMSEASON GRASSES.
TEES AND FAIRWAYS – Apply 2 to 3.5 floz per 1,000 square feet in a minimum spray volume of 2 gallons of water during active growth periods.

IRRIGATION SYSTEM APPLICATIONS
Applications of NutriGrow® MAGNUM through irrigation systems can be substituted for foliar applications described above and can be applied through sprinkler (e.g. solid set, hand move, walking, wheel roll) or low volume (e.g. micro sprinkler, tape, drip, fanjet) irrigation systems. The specific injection equipment and irrigation system must conform to all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to the fertilization of plants through an irrigation system and should be calibrated accurately prior to any application. The irrigation system should be operated to achieve maximum distribution uniformity to avoid plant injury and/or ineffectiveness. For best results, apply NutriGrow® MAGNUM toward the end of the irrigation cycle allowing sufficient time for the product to be flushed out of the entire irrigation system before turning off the irrigation water.

Due to the continuous development of new varieties of each of the many different ornamental plants, it is recommended that prior to the first use on a particular ornamental variety, the grower evaluate plant response(s) by treating a small sample of plants (6 to 10) with the product at the recommended dose(s). Allow sufficient time after application of the product to determine if there is going to be any undesirable plant response(s), including but not limited to stunting and/or leaf burn.
AS WITH ALL ACID MATERIALS, USER SHOULD EXERCISE PRECAUTION TO AVOID POTENTIAL FOLIAR BURNING. PRECAUTION IS ADVISED IF APPLYING THIS PRODUCT IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER MATERIALS SINCE MIXING COULD RESULT IN A POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS OR UNDESIRABLE REACTION CAUSED BY PRODUCT INCOMPATIBILITIES. A COMPATIBILITY TEST IS RECOMMENDED BEFORE TANK MIXING WITH OTHER PRODUCTS. THE pH OF ANY FINAL SPRAY SOLUTION SHOULD BE CHECKED AND AN APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF THE SOLUTION BE APPLIED TO A SMALL AREA OF THE INTENDED CROP TO ENSURE PLANT COMPATIBILITY PRIOR TO THE PLANNED APPLICATION. USER ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE PRODUCT, EQUIPMENT AND PLANT COMPATIBILITIES.

Avoid breathing splash, sprays, or mists generated from this material. Store in tightly closed container. Wash thoroughly after handling.
