BIAGRO ADDS TWO NEW POSITIONS AS BUSINESS GROWS

  Visalia, CA -  Biagro Western Sales Inc. recently added two new team members to assist in managing product sales, distribution and customer service.

With twenty-five years experience in the distribution of agricultural and turf and ornamental products, Mr. Patrick Murphy accepted the position of Director of Sales and Marketing. A proven leader in distribution and sales, Murphy received his bachelor of science in economics from St. Mary’s College and his MBA from California State University, Fresno. He gained the majority of his experience doing field work in various capacities for Wilbur Ellis, UAP and Helena.

Mr. Mike Thurlow also joined Biagro accepting the title of Professional Products Manager. In this position, Thurlow will oversee domestic turf and ornamental sales.
He began his career after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor of science in business administration, serving five-years as a naval flight officer, then earning an MBA from California State University, San Diego.

His initial experience came from the packaged goods industry where he worked for strongly branded companies such as Del Monte and Clorox.  He then transitioned to “the greens industry,” where combined, he has fourteen years management experience with The Scotts Company, United Horticultural Supply and with his own consulting firm.

Both men were hired for their extensive knowledge in the plant health and nutrition industry, their outgoing personalities and excellent customer service skills.
